Prentiss Turner
Founder, Clouds of Care Private Duty
My name is Prentiss Turner, founder of Clouds of Care Private Duty. For the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of working as a caregiver, supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most personal and vulnerable moments. My journey in caregiving began with a passion for helping others and a deep respect for those who need support to live safely and comfortably at home.

Over the years, I have cared for individuals with many different needs, personalities, routines, and family dynamics, and each experience has shaped the way I approach care today.
Through my years of hands-on caregiving experience, I have learned that quality care is about more than helping with daily needs. It is about listening, showing patience, protecting dignity, and creating a sense of comfort and trust in the home. I understand how important it is for families to feel confident in the person caring for their loved one. Inviting a caregiver into the home is a personal decision, and I do not take that responsibility lightly. Every client deserves to be treated with kindness, patience, respect, and dignity.
After 12 years of caregiving experience, I continued my education and recently graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Earning my BSN strengthened my knowledge of health, safety, communication, and patient-centered care, while deepening my commitment to providing care that is both compassionate and thoughtful.
Clouds of Care was created from my experience, education, and heart for service. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate in-home care that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and supported while giving families peace of mind. For me, care is personal. I believe every client should feel seen, heard, and respected, every family should feel supported, and every home care experience should be guided by compassion, professionalism, and trust.
